Life was going well for Walter and Judith. Walter clawed his way up the corporate ladder. Judith transitioned from housewife to influential socialite. Their son, Timothy, is a junior at Stanford. But the good life in 1970’s Houston is about to change. This time it’s more than the humidity and mosquitos that haunt the barbecues and swimming pools. The oil crisis, political radicals, LSD, and the pervasive threat of disco conspire to chip away at the careful veneer of the American Dream.
A collection of short chamber plays about marriage, ambition, and the awkward art of falling apart. Featuring “Runaway Walter” and other sketches.
